Richard Stallman visits OSU
Richard Stallman visited Ohio State University today. In an extremely packed lecture hall, he talked about:
- The evils of Coca-Cola
- The four freedoms of free software
- The perils of Windows, OSX, iOS, and Amazon's "swindle"
- The tracking capabilities of all cellphones
- Software culture
- Sharing is caring
The full audio of the talk can be found as an Ogg Vorbis file here. (48 MiB, 1h 50m, Ogg data, Vorbis audio, mono, 44100 Hz, ~96000 bps, licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported license)
Per Stallman's request, I will only be providing an Ogg Vorbis version of the file. To play it, I highly recommend the free and open-source media player VLC.
